01

Observe a week of work

Note repeated tasks and information entered more than once. You do not need a new tool to identify your first candidate.

02

Define inputs and outputs

An enquiry arrives, is organised by service and is prepared for a person to respond. Explain what the workflow receives and what it should produce.

03

Decide where people step in

Automation needs a route for incomplete data, exceptions and significant decisions. Review is part of the process, not a failure.

04

Test with fictional data

Prepare ordinary examples and difficult cases before connecting real customers. Check empty fields, duplicates and temporarily unavailable tools.

05

Measure before expanding

Review handling time and output quality. Expand in stages if the workflow helps. A simple rule may solve the problem without AI.
